Remove engine day for the doka – intention was to replace leaking main flywheel seal (and do the spigot bearing while it was out) turn out there was no spigot bearing – just a small handful of dust from rusted out needle bearings

Fixing all the bad things – new engine mounts and helicoil the new exhaust studs properly – helicoil still seems such a magical thing ! Make holes smaller !

With new gearbox oil new engine oil new clutch throw out bearing and plate and cleaned up engine bay firewall where I had to trim it for

Then install shiny new #vwspeedshop stainless tuned exhaust and back in…

the DOKA sounds rowdy now – lovely rumble to the exhaust noise and it seems to breath happier too – next stop new ignition system and a date with a dyno… uitstekend !
