after a mornings fiddling and twiddling sorting out the last of the plumbing and wiring loom all iss ok. fill with oil and crank over to build pressure then wityh bated breath i go to fire up the new engine for the first time….
of course it doesn’t fire.
does it ?
well, to cut a long story short i spend 3 hours with a test meter trying to work out why the ECU for the fuel injection won’t switch live… tracking everything…
then I realise that i’ve attached the flying lead for the live supply to an earth by mistake….
doh…
then, it fires !

it’s alive, after running for fifteen minutes or so and checking things over i pop out for a spin to the jet wash….
how big is my grin 🙂
