i wait all day for the courier to arrive with the new fule pump from wolfsberg performance. the clock ticks on. i start doing useless things like polishing the inside of the bumper to try and distract me and calm my nerves. i’m getting worried that the bus won’t even get me to santa pod tomorrow night let alon race… i hope that the oild leak is sorted now. if it’s not then i can’t race. i’ll oil the track down and noone will talk to me – ever again… at 5 pm i phone ian at wolfsberg. he tracks down the parcel and gives them a rocket, they send out a driver specially. at 6pm the fuel pump arrives and to my complete relief the fitting goes really well, all the wiring and drilling done etc… except i don’t have enough fuel hose… of course ! i need to wait until tomorrow to get more….
