ah well, roll on two dubbleoh six !

a new year and my brain is already imagining it sunny and smelling of spring time. more warm long days of spannering and cruising to the beach !

but it’s still cold and the news tells me to expect snow…
… so off to rome for a few days 🙂

priced up the final bits i need to rebuild the 2.1 wbxmotor. studs, gasket kit, bearings & new pushrod tubes… getting on for ?300 ! ouch.
ah well. i already have two spare sets of heads (one care of rad dubs , thankyou !) and a set of new barrels pistons and rings so all is on track… i’ve started looking for a workshop/lockup in bristol as the kitchen is looking less likely as a place to build engines (in pursuit of domestic harmony you understand)

on an engine tip, marco mansi has his monstrous turbo wasserboxer motor up for sale. and CHEEP too ! a lot of motor for not much $$$$ (in the grand scheme of things!)

the spec on this motor is awesome and the engineering is fantastic…
…if only i had more spending cash available 🙁
