picking up my email this evening and found that i had exactly 1,100 pieces of maikl to download fvrom the server… this is AFTER The automatic filters on my mailerserver have cleaned it up….

i was working late last night and picked up mail at about 2am so its under 24 hours since i last got my mail, this means i’ve had a piece of mal (spam) every 70 seconds for the last 23 hours…

of the 1,100 pieces of mail about TEN were actual mail of any meaning…

WHAT IS GOING ON !

officially – accordoing to people who count this stuff, 90% of all email traffic is not not actually mail … it’s spam or undelivered junk….

is this the death of email…
it’s getting useless…

the spam filters are set so high i know theres a good risk of legitimate mail being killed but what can i do ?
