Just collected the Scat h beams from the machine shop…

Type 1 style h beams from Serrano vws in CA, 24 mm bushings from CSP in Germany and then off to piston broke machine shop in bristol…

nearly there ! 😉

All I need now is the sleeves for the lifter bores, hopefully from Knofe in Germany, and all ready to dry assemble.

I’m still trying to track down a set of MV, SR or SS pistons as these are the low compression ones… the DJ pistons i’ve got are 10.5 :1 and a little too high for a turbo motor… talking with Conor at raceshack he’s convinced me to shell out the extra money for a ball bearing turbo – less friction, they spool up quicker at lower RPM so you can put a larger one one (in theory) and his target is 20lb of boost through it…
so…

A set of 9:1 low comp pistons would be helpful…
