a quick blatt up to conors on friday night for a lovely relaxed supper in the hereford hills then pop into raceshack on saturday morning to see a hive of activity on the doublecab… how much i should tell i’m not sure but i think i’ve fallen in love with it…

the cage is in and the fit out is starting, its the same cage as botcheinvolks did for the samba year before last, but this one has some added bits…

these neat little prostyle x’s on the door bars…

and paul botch was adding some box to the underfloor area for added stiffness. after an analysis of what happened to the trekker when it hit the wall at santapod raceway (120mph on an 11 second pass…) he’s on it even more…

then back home, glubs on and bolt away…

wahey, the engine is back in the wasser boxer and filled with oil and coolant,m (in the right places !) all piped up and ready to go…

the exhaust don’t fit round the engine support bar thoi…

but the baja header that i want to use wioth the turbo looks like it will fit with minimal modification…

got to run, got a meeting in cardifff..
