collected the rods from the machine shop
Just collected the Scat h beams from the machine shop… Type 1 style h beams from Serrano vws in CA, 24 mm bushings from CSP in Germany and then off to piston broke machine shop in bristol… nearly there ! 😉 All I need now is the sleeves for the lifter bores, hopefully from Knofe…

driving back from vw action we got passed by nicola and conor and family from Raceshack… they followed us back to akciddento towers for some tea and conor left a happy man, proud owner of a new intercooler…

i trucked up to RACESHACK to deliver croissants and blag mugs of tea and also to checkout how progress is going for bigbang show at santapod this weekend.. conor and kevo had the rail together and had just finished breaking in the cam on the new engine… conor also had a seablau and blauweiss 15…

a damp, rainy bleary start to the day. it’s been drizzling for several hours and the air is so cold it looks not too promising for racing today. It seems that the one meeting tha people thought would be dry is in danger of being a washout just like most of the others this year…

new new new !
well, here’s the coilpack i got in the post from DTA. it’s actually a valeo coil rather than a sagem one though the mountings are the same as are the pluglead sockets and the loom socket….. here they are side by side, old and new prior to fitment… i swapped the coilpack, changed the plugs…
