Doing the rest of the installation of oil pressure and oil temp – and relocating the switch for the winter heater- will help – make sure you only rig up the illumination circuit – actually connecting pressure and temp sensors to the engine can wait….

If in doubt washing the vehicle and going for a coffee somewhere with a view will definitely fix the malfunctioning temperature gauges…
