well, with a bit of encouragement i got the pulley off the 2.1 and was able to extract the waterpump (after lots of ‘gentle’ encouragement) so i can get the studs drilled out. i stripped and cleaned the old efi throttlebody and lo and behold it’s the same size as the RS turbo one i got from ebay. it’s also got a microswitch on the spindle that i might use in the nitrous system. another plus is that it mounts up to the plenum chamber properly!

i got the intake manifolds and plenum chamber and some other bits n bobs into the sink for cleaning. the injector mountings are pretty rusted so i think they will need some work to get them ready for the k-jet injectors. once i actually get the old digijet injectors out (without mangling them !) i’ll be able to tell properly.
