picked up the new con rod bolts from the main dealer this morning, ?55 with vat !!!!
and they didn’t even come ith nuts !

swapped out the old rod bolts and part assembled the crank with the pressure plate and flywheel with the new flywheel bolts etc.. all ready for the balancing now..

what i did spot, however, is that in my epic struggle to get the wrist pins out during dissassembly i seem to hav damaged one of the small end bushes… doh!
so send them off to have new ones pressed in, then balance it all…

called ove to see if the case was done and .. no not yet. apparently trying to get the out with acid….
