i was so impressed with the basic ability to post straight into the weblog databse that i registered the software i’d downloaded into my new nokia 3650 phone.
the application is called Kablog and you can get it at www.rawthought.com.

unfortunately there was a problem with the registration code so i mailed the software author (seems like it’s a kinda hobby or one man type operation, as some of the best stuff seems to be) and Todd at rawthought was kind enough to send me a reply to help me sort it within half an hour. seems that he is also working on the version to post pictures AND other media from the phone into the movabletype weblog software and asked me if i want to be involved in the betatest program. the geek in me immediately said yes! however, i know what comes next from past experience…

… i get completely sidetracked by technology and start posting stuff like this instead of interesting ranting volkswagen dragracing related anecdotes…

i was just checking the links on this diary entry and found a picture of Todd, thought you’d like to see what he looks like. this is the face of a person who spends his spare time writing communications software for mobile phones. heavy geekTech but very cool too!
