bass the final frontier
finally got round to looking at the soundsystem in the wedge… it’s not bad, pioneer 200w all round and fairly dead but it lacks depth in the bass…. so i pulled out the sub cabinet from upstairs (2x 10 inch subs in ported cab) and the 800w mosfet amp and thought i’d try it out.…

well, here’s the coilpack i got in the post from DTA. it’s actually a valeo coil rather than a sagem one though the mountings are the same as are the pluglead sockets and the loom socket….. here they are side by side, old and new prior to fitment… i swapped the coilpack, changed the plugs…

wiring madness, again ?
i’ve spent too much of the day tracing this…. the haynes/vw wiring diagram for the 412. slowly it’s staring to make sense. i got the windscreen washer pump working, the interior lighty, the windscreen wipers (with NEW wiper blades) german and swedish don’t have a single part for a 411 or 412 listed so guessing…
