parcelforce (bless ’em) turned up at the door with a parcel from germany for me… and guess what it contained ?

it’s an eberspacher B1L petrol air heater.

it’s got a fancy 7 day digital timer and other stuff and after connecting to a 12v battery pack it all seems to work but the safety cutoff seems to stop it going through full cycle… i’ve been searching the web for relevant manuals but to no avail. though i have figured out the incerdibly complex bit of wiring that means i can connect it up toi the lighting dimmer circuit in the bus so it illuminates at night…

no heat yet but it does light up.

i reckon that’s a fair trade…

all i need to do now is workout how to change the internal bulb for a blue LED and it’ll be rockin’

PS i have the other BA2 eberspacher that came from a T25 bus. all the bits work it just needs to be installed and cabled up.

now if i can just get hold of a working engine and fit the snow tyres then i might be off for lunch in the french alps over new year…..
