Breather and vacuum system on the EFI wbx
Added some more to the EFI MV wbx motor – the vacuum pipes from the manifolds – to drive the MAP sensor for the EFI and also the brake booster, plus some other small pieces of plumbing for the motor.

The DJ wbx motor we removed from the double slider is going for a rebuild – with some fancy things planned – but first it needs cleaning and tearing down. Mike and came down to the unit to get the motor onto a stand then we got into it –

old engine out !
the old 2.1DJ engine is out of the double slider and gets dragged along the lane into Ak HQ in Bristol… there are plans for this high compression engine while the replacement MV is in the double slider. Buying the creeper years ago seemed like a luxury and it has been such an awesome thing…

New EFI fuel tank in
IN goes the new EFI fuel tank, with all the breather pipes etc – also in is a new deep radiator for better cooling- and a refurb and paint for the fan shroud

EFI swap into the double slider T3
The process of swapping out the carb powered 2.1l MV wbx and changing over to EFI begins. The fuel tank in the double slider is a carb style one – and now 30 years old – so a new EFI fuel tank is ordered up – this has an internal swirl pot and bigger output…
